Q7.1 How do I join a clan?
Type CLANEDIT. Follow the menus to join a guild or petition to join a
clan.
Q7.2 What is the difference between a clan and a noble house?
Clans can be seen, conceptually, as nomadic tribes. The members are bound
together by name, and they have a central communications system. Noble
houses are one level up from clans. Some clans have been granted the
status of a noble house. Noble houses gain access to property rights, can
own ships, and are given a large piece of real estate (a noble house) which
they can call their own. Noble houses can participate in diplomacy with
other noble houses, and other clans are permitted to pledge loyalty to
noble houses in order to gain access to the same rights granted to the
noble house.
Q7.3 How do I check up on clans and houses?
Type SHOWHOUSE and SHOWCLAN to start off with. SHOWHOUSE (number) and
SHOWCLAN (number) will give you more detailed information.
Q7.4 How do I communicate in clan?
Typing CLAN (message) broadcasts that message to your clan members. Typing
HOUSE (message) broadcasts a message to your entire house.
Q7.5 How do I leave a clan?
Use CLANEDIT.
