When the world of Necromium was created a great book called 'The Necromicon' was forged by the gods. A magical book that wrote itself, the text contained the history of Necromium past, present and future. But discord among the gods caused the great book to be destroyed; shattered it in countless pieces and scattered to the winds. From the pieces discovered, mortal sages have been able to piece together some of the story of Necromium but much remains lost.
