Alright all of you guys know I've grown cynical and sarcastic over the years cause quite frankly in real life I'm too nice and so much of a gentleman that I have to unleash my otherside on you.


Here is my suggestion. Make us all Godly. Double all our stats and Damage, give new players options to instantly advance to explore the mud instead of just having them struggle killing janitors. We are in crisis mode so lets throw away caution and all that balance bullshit and let us run wild and free.

The idea is to get to the fun faster then all that bullshit of leveling and arranging eq runs. we can do it now with half the people.


equip us all with max stat eq expiring in a year, and give whoever logs on pretty much whatever.

of course once we con enough people into the game we'll slowly ease back of the God Power giving and when they are hooked, we pimp slap them with a dose of drug dealing reality. "First ones free but now you got to pay!"

People actually do suggest that kind of thing sometimes. So whether or not you're serious, here is a response.

Even if I made some new gear with crazy stats the only way to take it away later would be if it was temp to begin with. And the only way to start people off as maxavs is if I personally "advance/multi/advance/multi/advance..." each person.

Of course, there isn't going to be a time later where the mud has recovered and we have tons of players. So technically there would never be that time to take it all away. This is kind of the reason I stopped logging my mortal. Nothing really matters anymore, and the only reason I haven't done things like allow multiplaying or make crazy stat EQ is that I don't want to make necro a complete joke in its last days. Maybe one day we'll be "dead enough" and I'll do something like that just to entertain a few random people. Maybe not.

Would Bonez be willing to -sell- the code? Because I'd be willing to contribute...I'm sure together we could get together at least a couple grand if everyone's up for it.

And if he's Canadian, that comes out to several million.

It's like a corporate buyout....only backwards. Let the little guy rise up.

I definitely think multiplaying should be allowed. To say that loading max eq and stuff would make necromium a joke is totally not understanding the point of it. Its a game. How does loading or maxing characters make this game less that what it is/was. Whatever happens now, all the old players who liked the game have their own cherished memories that they know will never happen again.

Anyone remember Game Genie? or used Walk Throughs to beat an RPG game? Necromium to be blunt is a "joke" right now. Its an incomplete project. The OLD necromium when the majority of us started playing is long gone. Letting us Multiplay or be powerful enough to actually DO what this game has to offer, Run eq zones, is much better then a "RPG" chatroom which is now what Necromium is.

if EVER this game becomes populated again I'm sure everyone now would be willing to give up their "Godly eq/Status" for a fully functional game again.
